When I was a child, we could play in the street and we used to play ball, jump rope, etc., but currently children only play at home or in enclosed spaces such as playgrounds.

What’s more, a lot of our games depended on our imagination. However, now the children have a lot of toys which explain how to play and there are lots of computer or electronic games.

On the other hand, we only had, for example, one bicycle for four siblings and now most of the children have their own bicycle and sometimes there are more bicycles than children in a house.

Although I could mention a lot of differences between our past lifestyle and our current lifestyle, I think neither of them is better than the other because we didn’t have a lot of toys, but we had more freedom and now it’s the age of technology. We couldn’t imagine what it’d be like with the current computer games but today’s children can’t think of living without all their advantages.
